Roll Call is reporting that a new poll in Nebraska’s 2nd District House race show Republican Don Bacon ahead of Democrat Congressman Brad Ashford among registered voters.
Roll Call reports:
“The poll was conducted Oct. 22-24 for the Congressional Leadership Fund, the super PAC tied to House GOP leadership. The fund has invested $950,000 on TV and digital in the Omaha-based district.
Bacon trailed Ashford 41 to 47 percent in a North Star poll from late August.”
In the Presidential race in the 2nd District (remember the Nebraska legislature voted to split up the state’s Electoral votes…) the poll found:
Donald Trump: 44%
Hillary Clinton: 40%
Gary Johnson: 8%
Jill Stein: 2%
According to Roll Call, 40% of the interviews were conducted by cell phone, and the poll had a margin of error of 4.9%.
